That is why oral re hydration solution ( ORS ) is given to patients of diarrhea. It contains essential electrolytes for our body. In most cases, the cause of an acute diarrhea is gastroenteritis or food poisoning. A particular pathogen enters the body and our body quickly eliminates it out of the system.
The symptoms of diarrhea are frequent loose stools, weakness, extreme fatigue, muscle cramps, abdominal pain ( in some cases ) , mental fogginess. There can be chills or fever due to diarrhea.
